I have sung this song on my guitar chords as a BGM. Originally, this song was brilliantly rendered by Kishore Kumar from film Mr X In Bombay. Classic music by Laxmikant Pyarelal and lyrics by Anand Bakshi. I have also depicted guitar chords for the song.
Mere Mehboob Qayaamat Hoogi........Am, G
Aaj Rusba Teri Galiyon Mein Mohoobbat Hogi............G, Am
Meri Nazren To Gila Karti Hai.............Am, G
Tere Dil Ko Bhi Sanam Tujse Shikayat Hogi...G, Am
Teri Gali Mein Aata Sanam.............Am
Nagma Wafaa Ka Gaata Sanam.......Am
Tujse Sunaa Na Jaata Sanam....G
Phir Aaj Idhar Aaya Hoon Magar............C
Ye Kahne Mein Diwana..........C, G
Khatam Bas Aaj Vehshat Hogi..............Am
Mere Mehboob Qayaamat Hoogi........Am, G
Aaj Rusba Teri Galiyon Mein Mohoobbat Hogi.... G, Am
Meri Tarah Tu Aahen Bhare
Tu Bhi Kisi Se Pyaar Kare
Aur Rahe Wo Tujse Pare
Tune O Sanam Dhaye Hai Sitam
To Yeh Tu Bhulana Jana
Ke Na Tujpe Bhi Inaayat Hogi
Mere Mehboob Qayaamat Hoogi........Am, G
Aaj Rusba Teri Galiyon Mein Mohoobbat Hogi.... G, Am
Naam Niklega Tera Hi Lab Se........Am, G
Jaan Jab Is Dile Na Kaam Se Rukhsat Hogi..... G, Am
Mere Sanam Ke Dar Se Agar
Bade Saba Ho Tera Guzar
Kahna Sitamgar Kuch Hai Khabar
Tera Naam Liya Jab Tak Bhi Jiya
Ye Shama Tera Parwana
Tuje Ab Tak Jisse Nafrat Hoogi
Mere Mehboob Qayaamat Hoogi........Am, G
Aaj Rusba Teri Galiyon Mein Mohoobbat Hogi..... G, Am

A very lilting tune, with simple yet memorable lyrics... Very well done, Sablu sahab.... There is a bizarre incident connected with this song in my time in the University..One cannot but remember it whenever this number is played...Those were the days of the juke boxes One had a choice between buying a Coke, or listening to a number on the juke box.. both cost 25 paise...............................Best Wishes.............B N BAHADUR

Dear Dr. Kamath Sir,
Millions of thanks to you for your wonderful and lovely comments which I always consider precious sound of your soul. I was wondering why so far your comment has not come to my blog as you have been always so prompt in giving valuable response. Anyway I don’t mind, it happens sometime due to the several factors. Better late than never. I am glad you liked very much my rendition And yes, I will definitely love to render KK’s very high scales songs as per your desire. Probably, by next week recording I will try to do that.
Music is my challenge, music is my passion, music is my love. Without music, I am like a fish without water.
Regards,
Mukesh

Dear Sablu,
Aap ne to phirse kamaal kar dikhaya. Your voice sounds very much like Kishore Kumar in terms of tonal quality and style. You rendered this song excellently. Very well done once more. I wish in future, you sing some song of Kishore Kumar with very high notes at same scale of Kishore Kumar (e.g. Mere Naina Saawn Bhado type of song) and I want to see how you sound on very high notes. Your guitar background was once again very good.
Thanks for melodious rendition.
Kind Regards,
Dr. Kamath

Dear Gopal sir,
Thanks a ton to you for your beautiful comments which I love and cherish to read it.
Thanks also for recommending my song. You are very true sir that my name should be Sablu Kishore Chaap. And yes, you have assumed so precisely that at very young age I was loving more Mukesh-ji songs.
It’s amazing to know this relevant fact from you. Coincidently, when I started rendering in my college’s functions, my friends love to listen from me only KK’s songs. I generally was rendering all old Mukesh-ji numbers but soon I noticed that public started loving more to listen from me KK’s songs. Since then, I swithed on KK’s singing world. But do love Mukeshji’s songs too and to listen from your voice I take special pleasure.
Regards,
Mukesh
